French chef Alexia Duchêne puts her own spin on a traditional Swedish recipe for Linnea Lund.
With a cultural blend inherited from her French father and English mother, Alexia developed a curiosity for diverse cuisines at a young age. She honed her skills at the prestigious Taillevent in France, then ventured to Copenhagen under Torsten Vildgaard, former sous chef of the renowned Michelin-starred restaurant Noma, repeatedly named "best restaurant in the world." Ambitious and discerning, Alexia returned to Paris in 2017 at Giovanni Passerini's acclaimed establishment before launching her street food menu at Wanderlust in 2020. Fulfilling her childhood dream, Alexia crossed the ocean to establish Margot in the United States.
Margot offers shared plates inspired by her beloved Italian cuisine with a French flair. At her restaurant in Brooklyn's Fort Greene, Alexia Duchêne, dressed in our pearl grey cashmere sleeveless vest for women, invites us to rediscover a well-known Swedish recipe: Köttbullar (meatballs).
