This time, it's Audrey, founder of LOURS Paris, an ethical streetwear brand for children, who takes the spotlight for #MyLinneaLund!
During the launch of her brand, Audrey Moulin had a beautiful vision: to create comfortable clothing for her children, "the new citizens of the world." She aimed for unisex garments that allowed them to have fun and feel free to move. Her wardrobe is full of colors, joy, whimsy, and "soft(ly) soft(ly)" tops, with collections produced in ultra-limited series to target zero waste. What's even more admirable is that every creation is made exclusively in France, using high-quality materials to bring durable clothing to life while preserving the planet—the primary playground for our children. This former fashion journalist has successfully taken on the challenge!
What we admire about Audrey Moulin? Her thirst for knowledge, attention to detail, commitment to French craftsmanship, and appetite for sustainable fashion. These qualities have led her to genuine success, making her one of the few children's fashion brands to achieve a brilliant feat: minimizing distances between each production link. Moreover, this rare proximity in today's world has allowed her to build a strong network of local partners who have become her chosen family.
In love with the Marais district, where she resides in a bright apartment doubling as her office, Audrey has created her dedicated space for LOURS Paris. It's here that she works, receives guests, and showcases new products from her brand. Adorned in our Nathalie turtleneck sweater, she graciously welcomes us to discuss what brings her happiness, her recent trip to California which inspired her Summer 2022 collection, and the Linnea Lund pieces she holds dear.
How would you define your style?
My style is rather simple but can be very colorful, featuring sweaters, sweatshirts, and jackets that I often wear oversized for comfort. I also wear a lot of sneakers!
What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
I love wearing colors, particularly Linnea Lund's soft pink, which I find elegant, subtle, and beautiful.
In your opinion, what objects represent Sweden?
Polar bears, of course, but also a gentle lifestyle.
Which piece in your wardrobe or apartment do you cherish the most?
A lamp I found in Bordeaux that I find very elegant, joyful, and colorful.
If you could keep only one item from your wardrobe, what would it be?
An oversized men's jacket I found, which is very elegant. I can wear it with sneakers or heels—it's truly versatile, and I wear it all the time!
