This week, it's Angela's turn, Charlotte's older sister, to be the #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!
Asked what cashmere reminds her of, Angela answers without hesitation: "softness, simplicity, and warmth." Three words that characterize her so well that they could be attributed to her. Angela is all of these things at once—a reassuring, comforting, and caring older sister. She has always been there for Charlotte, from the early sketches of Linnea Lund's first creations.
Even though the two sisters live in different time zones and haven't lived on the same continent for a long time, they remain connected to each other, no matter the distance. Day or night, they can talk for hours on the phone, share their lives, support each other, and give each other courage, like best friends. And that's exactly what they are: "What I admire about Angela is that she is fearless, she knows how to adapt to any situation," says Charlotte. Her ability to reinvent herself inspired one of Linnea Lund's best-sellers: our 100% cashmere poncho, which can be worn as a coat, scarf, or sweater, depending on the season and mood. La Belle Bleue is another cause that unites the two sisters, as they both strive to preserve it in their own way. Angela, as a sustainable development consultant, takes actions to reduce plastic consumption, while Charlotte advocates for reasoned and on-demand production. These essential values of respect for the environment and living beings were inherited from their mother, Susanne, and they pass them on to the family's children: Maya, Jenna, and Noah.
Gathered for the summer at their mother's house in Normandy, Charlotte and Angela catch up on the long months of separation. It's an opportunity to immortalize these moments of joy as a family and to highlight the older sister that Charlotte admires so much. Simple, elegant, classic.
- What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
I have several! But if I had to choose just one, the most unique and different would be Baltic.
- How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?
Every day with jeans, in the evening with heels, or on weekends with a tracksuit!
- What objects represent Sweden for you?
For me, Sweden is mostly about moments, like having breakfast outside all summer with the sun that never sets. It's also about picking chanterelle mushrooms in the woods, nature in its purest form. And if I had to choose an object, it would be my mother's Swedish clogs that everyone used, young and old. ☺️
- What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe?
The Angela poncho, because it's both a coat, a scarf, and a sweater!
