My Linnea Lund : Alice Violier

My Linnea Lund : Alice Violier

Each week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we discuss their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they enjoy mixing and matching our iconic cashmere pieces. And of course, it's exciting and filled with delicacy and love.

This time, it's Alice Violier, founder of the brand Seconde Vue, who is the woman of the week for #MyLinneaLund!

This time, it's Alice Violier, founder of the brand Seconde Vue, who is the woman of the week for #MyLinneaLund! It was discovering a few sublime pairs of forgotten vintage glasses in a drawer that gave Alice the idea to found Seconde Vue. The concept? Giving a second life to eyeglasses and sunglasses that have stood the test of time, yet remain contemporary thanks to a graphic and assertive style. As the granddaughter of the eyewear designer and founder of Maison Perceval, Alice has an eye for uncovering treasures which she then entrusts to experts for repair and adjustment. Restored to new, these frames are ready to be adopted by a new face!

Linnea Lund perfectly identifies with this spirit of committed, responsible, and circular fashion. Like us, Alice loves structured cuts and vibrant colors that add character to an outfit. She naturally fell for our intense green Greta cardigan and was charmed by the soft yellow of our short-sleeved Ingrid sweater, which she enjoys pairing with wide-legged pants held up by a vintage belt.

It's in front of Île Saint-Louis, in the Seconde Vue showroom where dozens of unique and elegant eyeglasses are displayed, that Alice welcomes us to talk about herself through her wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces she cherishes.

- How would you define your style?
I have a style that translates into two moods: the first is very comfortable, with loose clothing, an oversized jacket, and sneakers. The second is more "femme fatale" with form-fitting dresses and heels, for example. What I love about the clothes I wear is the structure: I like large jackets with broad shoulders or dresses that cinch at the waist. I also love (a lot) colors: vibrant, warm, pastel—they make me happy, and I dare to wear pink pants and an orange sweater in the middle of winter.

- What is your favorite color in the Linnea Lund palette?
It's impossible to choose just one! I adore soft pink, I love the range of greens, blues, and blue-greens.

- How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?
I wear it with loose low-rise jeans and a vintage chain belt.

- What objects represent Sweden for you?
A wooden object with perfect, clean, and soothing lines, and a pair of clogs, if that counts as an object?
