Our capsule collection with Elle Macpherson has been featured in the press, notably in the pages of the prestigious American magazine WWD, as well as Madame Figaro and Marie Claire in France. Here, we share a few excerpts to tell you the story behind this collaboration with Elle Macpherson and the key steps in its creation.
A Collaboration Born from Long-Standing Loyalty
As WWD writes, Elle Macpherson practically lives in cashmere clothes. Over time, she has learned to recognize true cashmere and refine her tastes and standards when it comes to colors, cuts, quality, and finishes.
Among her favorite brands in Paris is Linnea Lund.
We first met Elle Macpherson a few years ago, when Mathilde Favier, PR Director at Dior, was looking for a pair of cashmere socks to complete Elle's look as a guest at a Dior fashion show.
And so, from a love at first sight for a simple pair of socks, the story began between Elle Macpherson and Charlotte Björklund, founder of Linnea Lund.
So, when we invited her to design her dream cashmere piece with us, she loved the idea!
In fact, she already had a clear vision: to create a 70s-inspired cashmere bomber jacket, the kind no one had imagined yet.
Elle Macpherson opens up to Madame Figaro about designing the capsule collection
In its August 28, 2026 issue, Madame Figaro announced our collaboration with Elle Macpherson as one of the fashion highlights of the new season!
During an interview, the supermodel reflected on the values she shares with Linnea Lund: genuine cashmere and complete traceability of materials, with total transparency regarding countries of origin and manufacturing.
Her devotion to Italian cashmere is no coincidence: according to her, it stands the test of time without pilling and holds its shape, whereas other cashmeres lose their form after a few seasons.
At Linnea Lund, we couldn't agree more, which is why our cashmere is made in Italy.
She describes a creative process that was "very free, very instinctive," working hand in hand with Charlotte Björklund and the team, focusing on lines, color contrasts, and finishes behind what appears to be effortless simplicity.
When asked about her favorite piece from the capsule collection, she doesn't explicitly choose, but the bomber remains her ultimate favorite, a piece she describes as dense and architectural, yet "incredibly soft."
It is also the "object of desire" for Vicky Chahine, fashion journalist at Marie Claire.
The bomber: the star piece of the capsule collection
For the knit bomber silhouette, Elle Macpherson was aiming for an "effortlessly cool" look. She drew inspiration from a vintage 1970s jacket she adores.
The jacket doesn't do things by halves: it contains over a kilogram of cashmere, with carefully crafted construction and refined cuffs.
This zipped cashmere bomber can be worn with jewelry for an elegant evening look or paired with a simple T-shirt for a laid-back vibe.

The deliberately compact capsule also includes:
- a reversible cashmere sweatshirt with contrasting trim. A "two-in-one" staple ideal for light travel, offering two looks in a single garment.
- a triangular cashmere scarf, to wear around the neck or over the head, completing the look.
A Wonderful Launch with Elle Macpherson at Place Furstemberg
Keeping with Linnea Lund tradition, Charlotte Björklund set a lovely breakfast table outside her charming boutique on Place Furstemberg. It was an invitation to sit, chat, and enjoy homemade Swedish treats made using French-Swedish Charlotte’s secret recipes.

While the founder of Linnea Lund described the model as a muse and praised her vibrant, boho-chic way of reinterpreting clothing, Elle Macpherson emphasized the authentic nature of the collaboration, calling it a "love project," and highlighted her commitment to supporting female-founded brands.
Linnea Lund: The Rising "Conscious Cashmere" Brand
Founded in 2019 by Charlotte Björklund (a former collaborator of trend forecaster Li Edelkoort and freelance fashion consultant), Linnea Lund focuses on premium quality cashmere, made entirely in Italy, with a conscientious, responsible, and transparent artisanal process.
Today, the brand has two boutiques in Paris, a corner at Le Bon Marché, and distributes its pieces wholesale across around twenty retail locations, primarily in Europe and Japan. The United States is the next growth priority.
Linnea Lund also stands out through its collaborations with influential women in fashion and lifestyle.
Last year, Linnea Lund collaborated with Inès de la Fressange on "the perfect navy crewneck."
Another project is planned for later this year with makeup artist Gucci Westman.
