My Linnea Lund : Ondine Saglio
Ondine Saglio: Celebrating African Craftsmanship
Ondine Saglio has cultivated her love for ethical decor and African craftsmanship for 27 years as the director of Compagnie du Sénégal et de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (CSAO), which showcases and markets treasures from across the Atlantic. Founded by her mother in 1995 and taken over with passion, CSAO features hand-painted plates, embroidered cushions adorned with love words, and fabrics like wax and Liberty prints. African culture permeates every aspect, reflecting the patience and craftsmanship involved in creating these wonders. CSAO aims to promote these treasures beyond Africa, with a deep respect for the African artisans they collaborate with.

Style, Ethics, and Favorite Pieces
Craftsmanship, expertise, warm materials, and ethical values unite Charlotte and Ondine, who have fallen for our cardigans and Mimmi Marinière. These timeless pieces from Linnea Lund align perfectly with Ondine's classic vintage style and her desire to dress sensibly by investing in pieces she can cherish for years.
We met Ondine Saglio at CSAO's Paris boutique on Rue Elzévir, amidst the vibrant embroideries she cherishes, to discuss her wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces she adores.

How would you define your style?
What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?
At work with jeans, and in the evening with elegant trousers! In summer, I particularly appreciate the cardigan for cool evenings. I have them in several colors. I wear them a lot! And the marinière has become my new favorite piece!
