My Linnea Lund: Adélaïde d'Andigné

Adélaïde d’Andigné: The Art of Elegant Homewear with Lalide à Paris

Every week, we invite a woman or a man from the Linnea Lund community to talk about their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces.
This time, it’s Adélaïde d’Andigné, stylist and founder of the French homewear brand Lalide à Paris, who is our #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!

“You are beautiful when you are comfortable,” says Adélaïde d’Andigné, and we couldn’t agree more.
So why not apply this mantra to your home looks, perfecting the cozy spirit of your living space with outfits as elegant as they are soft to wear, whether you’re relaxing or working?

Lalide à Paris: When Homewear Becomes a Way of Life

The Birth of a Brand Designed for Everyday Comfort

Adélaïde d’Andigné first imagined the homewear style for herself. Having almost always created and worked from home, she never gave up on style or the pleasure of dressing beautifully, even when the runway ran from the living room to the bedroom.
And that’s how Lalide à Paris was born: collections of pajamas, kimonos, nightgowns, and other loungewear sets designed as envelopes of softness. With their unique floral prints, feminine cuts, and noble, silky materials in French satin and silk, they infuse daily life with poetry and a touch of bucolic charm.

Marie-Antoinette Inspiration and a Bucolic Spirit

The charm of Lalide à Paris lies in its connection to the refined and delicate elegance of Marie-Antoinette’s style. You can sense a love for 18th-century engravings, botanical prints, and fabrics found in flea markets.

As you might guess, Adélaïde d’Andigné has a deep affection for fine details, beautiful fabrics, and the craftsmanship of small French and European ateliers she loves to collaborate with.
That’s why her collections feature Calais lace, silks woven and printed in France, and Portuguese knits, the values and commitments we wholeheartedly share at Linnea Lund.

A Studio-Apartment Reflecting Her Homewear Universe

Adélaïde’s wardrobe, much like her apartment, is both understated and chic, painted in “a palette of soft, reassuring colors, a bit like Linnea Lund cashmeres, with tender, natural shades.”

Wearing our sublime Angela poncho, Adélaïde welcomes us into her Parisian studio-apartment to talk about the origins of Lalide à Paris, her love for vintage fabrics, and the Linnea Lund pieces she cherishes most.

The Interview: Adélaïde d’Andigné in Linnea Lund

How would you define your style?
I try to adapt it to each circumstance. For example, the lovely Linnea Lund poncho, I can wear it in the countryside by the fireplace, or with a black evening dress.

What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
Grayish greens, ultra-pale pinks that give a radiant complexion, and all the speckled beiges.

In your eyes, what objects represent Sweden?
I think of Carl Larsson, painter and illustrator, who portrayed his family, his country home, his vegetable garden, and cozy interior scenes. It’s absolutely charming!

What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe or apartment?
One of the objects dearest to me is a 19th-century fabric printer’s register - a fantastic source of inspiration for our pajamas.
