Welcome to this week's episode of Linnea Lund's Food Fridays where every Friday we share one of our favorite Swedish dishes for you and your loved ones to try at home. Every day should be a time to share and exchange recipes and traditions with family, friends and colleagues. That's why we want to share some of our Swedish culture with you!
Instructions:
Peel the potatoes, cut them into thin strips and put them in cold water. Peel and chop the onions. Heat a little butter and fry the onions until they soften. Drain the potatoes and anchovies. Place a layer of potatoes in an ovenproof dish. Cover with a layer of anchovies. Cover with a layer of onions. Finish with a layer of potatoes. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle milk or cream over the top. Spread the remaining butter, cut into small pieces, over the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200° for 45 minutes.

450g of potatoes
2 onions
50g of butter
2 tins of elongated anchovies
30cl fresh cream or milk
Salt
Pepper
