My Linnea Lund : Margot Rousseau & Louis Bompard

margot louis my linnea lund

Every week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we discuss their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they enjoy mixing our iconic cashmere pieces. And of course, it's exciting and filled with delicacy and love.

This time, it's Margot Rousseau, a fashion journalist, stylist, and consultant, along with Louis Bompard, communication manager for an accessories brand, who form the first couple of #MyLinneaLund!

Every week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we discuss their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they enjoy mixing our iconic cashmere pieces. And of course, it's exciting and filled with delicacy and love.

This time, it's Margot Rousseau, a fashion journalist, stylist, and independent consultant for two years after a decade in women's magazines, and Louis Bompard, communication manager for a sunglasses brand, who form the first couple of #MyLinneaLund!

She has unleashed her artistic sense by offering us the artistic direction of our latest Linnea Lund campaign, immortalized on the Emerald Coast. He, a former journalist, juggles words and embraces a style where hats and subtly open-colored shirts reveal his collection of necklaces and tattoos. In harmony, they freely cultivate their style while skillfully harmonizing their looks.

This beautiful chemistry is also found in their shared passion for second-hand furniture, which they love to hunt together. Furniture, earthenware vases, ethnic statues, and totems—every object with a story to tell has a better chance of finding its place in their warm and multicultural apartment in the 18th arrondissement.

It is in their Parisian nest, where they are preparing to welcome their first child, that they welcome us to talk about their wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces they cherish.

- How would you define your style?
Louis: In terms of fashion, I appropriate everything that appeals to me. My style is tinged with past references, with an affinity for Dolce Vita looks: sunglasses with smoked lenses, shirts open over my necklaces, and loose high-waisted pants.
Margot: My style is feminine, often with a vintage bohemian touch. I love contrasts: a masculine blazer with broad shoulders paired with a fitted satin dress. Or the delicacy of a lace dress with chunky boots.

- What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
Louis: The Jeans color, as timeless and effective as real denim.
Margot: My heart leans towards Honey, which brightens the complexion, and Grass (the name of the green dress she wears), a beautiful alternative to khaki.

- How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?
Louis: For me, softness goes hand in hand with comfort. I like to wear cashmere with basic pieces as it adds a touch of chic.
Margot: I like to wear cashmere oversized, like a comforting blanket.

- What objects represent Sweden for you?
Louis: Tomas Brolin's right foot (Swedish football player).
Margot: Clogs (and their characteristic sound), which I rarely wear outside my home in summer.
