My Linnea Lund : Sergio Machado
Montmartre, a Life in Motion
Sergio Machado is a world traveler, collecting destinations and preserving his favorite escapes with objects that now fill his Parisian apartment atop Montmartre. The neighborhood’s bohemian spirit suits this globetrotter and artist at heart, who often retreats to his Petit Bureau, a studio where he cuts, glues, assembles, layers, draws, and envisions tomorrow’s prints.
From Trends to Timelessness
For years, Sergio worked at Lidewij Edelkoort’s Trend Union, where he met Charlotte, then at the very beginning of Linnea Lund. Those Edelkoort years shaped a shared philosophy, against fast fashion, toward durable garments cared for with love. Basics beyond trends, pieces built to last and to be passed on.
Style by Instinct
Sergio follows his heart, travels, and serendipity. A free spirit yields a style without dogma or constraint. His wardrobe is eclectic, guided only by affection. If he loves it, he wears it. He especially appreciates Linnea Lund’s simple, timeless pieces, delightful to wear.
Amid his collages, world objects, and DVDs, he welcomes us into his living space and Petit Bureau, wearing our Mimmi crew neck sweater to talk about travel, creation, and the Linnea Lund pieces he loves.
