Mathilde Lacombe is an entrepreneur at heart and a well-inspired beauty aficionado. For her, it all started more than ten years ago. First with her blog, La vie en Blonde, then a quick stint with ELLE magazine, before deciding to embrace the pretty and brilliant Birchbox concept (renamed since Blissim) in which Mathilde Lacombe was already deploying her talent as a scout for sourced and quality cosmetics, with a mission in mind: to make beauty accessible to all. Because for this serial entrepreneur, there is nothing superficial or futile about cosmetics. On the contrary, they are self-confidence boosters. And she is convinced of it: feeling good about yourself goes hand in hand with care rituals to integrate into our daily lives. A new way of rethinking the beauty that this mother of three children managed to impose with Aime, her brand of nutricosmetics launched four years ago with the complicity of a longtime friend.

It is therefore when we jumped off the train that Mathilde invites us to meet at one of her favorite Parisian addresses, the Château Voltaire hotel. It is classic but always with a touch of modernity. And the key for me is comfort.
What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
Cream, navy, beige and black.
In your eyes, what objects represent Sweden?
It's the Kanelbullar, that cinnamon donut that I love!
Which room in your dressing room/or your apartment is your favorite?
It's my big black leather handbag in which I like to put everything, my computer and my things. It serves me daily and follows me everywhere.
If I tell you cashmere, what do you think of?
I love the softness of this material and its very sensual side, and the fact of wearing cashmere next to the skin, which is warm without being too heavy.
