This week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we'll discuss their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they enjoy mixing and matching our iconic cashmere pieces. Of course, it's exciting and filled with delicacy and love.
This time, Mary Clerté is the woman of the week for #MyLinneaLund!
Mary Clerté, a true enthusiast of vintage items, stripes, flowers, and vibrant colors, paints an artistic universe that is both dreamy and whimsical, evident in her drawings and films which are always imbued with a gentle strangeness. Her style can be described as "baroque," blurring the line between reality and hallucination, where strangeness emerges from a stance or a deep red, yet light can burst forth from a radiant blue. Her narrative and subtle palette of colors find echoes in the delicate tones of our Linnea Lund brand.
Mary loves to pair our soft Lilac or lovely Oatmeal with prints, fluid silk fabrics, and treasures brought back from her travels, creating a hyper-feminine style that she enhances with a touch of color and fantasy—everything we cherish at Linnea Lund.
We met Mary in her flower-filled studio in the 9th arrondissement, also her creative space adorned with stripes and vintage objects dear to her. It's there, amidst her vinyl collection and cinema posters, that she welcomed us to tell her story through her wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces she adores.

I have a soft spot for the very gentle Lilac I'm wearing in the photos, as well as English Green, which is one of my favorite colors.

What object represents Sweden for you?
Without hesitation, the adorable Linnea Lund clogs.
