My Linnea Lund : Capucine
Capucine: The Art of the Revived Friulane
As she likes to define herself, this "colomaniac" adores prints, ikat fabrics, and velvet—three essential components of her style that she loves to highlight in her creations, especially in her collection of colorful velvet slippers inspired by the Friulane, a traditional slipper from Venice in the 1940s, now worn by urban women thanks to Capucine's revisited designs. For Capucine, softness and colors embody the essence of a comforting and warm brand, qualities that resonate with Linnea Lund.

Charlotte was eager to invite Capucine, whom she had met some time ago at The Reunion event at the Crillon. Since then, they had reunited over a Swedish breakfast to share their common values in fashion: timeless and colorful pieces crafted from beautiful fabrics by the finest artisans. For Capucine, these artisans are located in Uzbekistan, where she selects her precious textiles before they reach Italy and a small traditional workshop where each shoe is meticulously crafted, including the famous recycled bicycle tire soles. This artisanal and eco-conscious dimension inevitably appeals to us at Linnea Lund.

On a beautiful March day, accompanied by her daughter Alma and dressed in our Edward sweater, Capucine warmly welcomes us to her boutique in the 8th arrondissement of Paris with her charming smile, ready for a discussion where she shares her story through her wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces she cherishes.
