My Linnea Lund: Adélaïde d'Andigné

My Linnea Lund: Adélaïde d'Andigné

Every week, we invite a woman or a man from the Linnea Lund community to talk about their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces. This time, Adélaïde d'Andigné, stylist and creator of the French loungewear brand Lalide à Paris, is the #MyLinneaLund personality of the week!

"You are beautiful when you are comfortable," says Adélaïde d'Andigné, and we couldn't agree more. So, why not apply this mantra to home outfits, simply to perfect the cozy spirit of the home with ensembles that are as elegant as they are soft to wear, whether lounging or working? The homewear style was initially thought of by stylist Adélaïde d'Andigné for herself, having almost always created and worked from home, never giving up her style or the pleasure of being able to do so at any hour of the day or night. Thus, the brand Lalide à Paris was born. Collections of pajamas, kimonos, babydolls, and other loungewear sets designed as envelopes of softness, with original floral prints, feminine cuts, and noble, silky materials in French satin and silk, daily infusing a poetic and bucolic note. This is the charm of Lalide à Paris, where one feels a connection with Marie-Antoinette's refined and delicate style, and perceives a sensitivity for 18th-century engravings, botanical plates, and fabrics found at flea markets...

As you might have guessed, Adélaïde d'Andigné is attached to pretty details, beautiful fabrics, and the craftsmanship of small workshops in France and Europe with whom she loves to work. This is how the collections are made up of Calais lace, silks manufactured and printed in France, and Portuguese knits. Values and commitment that we share at Linnea Lund.

As for Adélaïde's wardrobe, it is like her apartment, sober and chic, tinged with a "palette of soft and reassuring colors, a bit like those of Linnea Lund cashmeres, soft and natural colors."

Indeed, dressed in our sublime Angela poncho, Adélaïde welcomes us into her studio apartment to talk about the origins of Lalide à Paris, her love for vintage fabrics, and the Linnea Lund pieces she loves so much.

- How would you define your style?
I try to adapt it to each circumstance. For example, the lovely Linnea Lund poncho, I can wear it in the countryside by the fireplace, or with a black evening dress.

- What is your favorite color in the Linnea Lund palette?
Grayish greens, ultra-pale pinks that give a healthy glow, and all speckled beiges.

- In your eyes, what objects represent Sweden?
I think of Carl Larsson, painter and illustrator, who depicted his family, his country house, his vegetable garden, interior scenes, and it's absolutely charming.

- What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe/apartment?
One of the objects very dear to me is a 19th-century fabric printer's register, a fantastic source of inspiration for our pajamas.
