My Linnea Lund with Camille Vever, heiress of the Vever maison
There is the legacy we are given, and then there’s what we choose to make of it. Camille Vever inherited a forgotten treasure that was just waiting to be awakened. But it still took the tools, the talent, and the determination to turn it into something precious… Camille Vever tells us how she brought her family’s slumbering jewelry house back to life, transforming it into a luxury brand filled with humanity and conviction.
Vever Jewelry Maison, awakening a sleeping beauty
Camille Vever was only 16 when she embraced her destiny. It came in a velvet box handed to her by her beloved grandmother. Inside: a sublime platinum brooch and a golden inscription — her family name, alongside the word “joaillerie.” In that moment, Camille realized she held a treasure in her hands — a powerful heritage. And so, while still a teenager, she made herself a promise: to bring Maison Vever back to life and restore its rightful place in the world of French jewelry.
“New luxury,” the Art Nouveau of the 21st century
Two centuries ago, Art Nouveau strayed from its English roots and Belle Époque charm to take hold in France, where it shaped the Decorative Arts and left its mark on jewelry with its organic motifs. Flourishing lines of flora, fauna, and feminine forms adorned ornate and expressive pieces. Among the most iconic houses of the time was Vever — a pioneer in what would later be called "modern jewelry."
So, when Camille Vever and her brother decided to revive their family heritage just over four years ago, one question guided them: What would Art Nouveau look like today? For Camille, the answer was crystal clear: “It would be a ‘new luxury’ — sustainable, ethical, and respectful of both people and the planet. Jewelry with purpose, crafted exclusively in France.”
Such a bold stance in the fiercely competitive — and far from eco-conscious — world of fine jewelry naturally spoke to us, and inspired us.
A golden standard in French jewelry and a committed luxury maison
At Maison Vever, there’s nothing ostentatious — the red carpet rolls out away from prying eyes. Tucked away in the heart of Paris’s jewelry district on Rue de la Paix, the brand’s only showroom sits a few floors up. There’s no street-front boutique here, just a singular immersive experience under the rooftops of Paris. A discreet, almost one-on-one encounter where every detail is carefully considered to draw visitors into the Vever universe — a journey as unique as the house itself.
And once you understand the strength of this maison’s values, it all makes sense. Camille has ensured that every piece is traceable and made in France, using recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds — never mined. These bold, meaningful choices have earned Vever the rare distinction of being the first jewelry house officially recognized as a “mission-driven company.” A status reserved for brands whose core business is built around solving social and environmental challenges.
Inspiring, isn’t it?

And because Camille embodies everything about the Parisian woman — elegant, ultra-feminine, yet gracefully understated — we imagined her wrapped in our 100% ethical and traceable cashmere jacquard sweater, Sarah in the “Hjotron” version. It’s how you’ll discover her in the filmed portrait we’ve dedicated to her — a woman of bold spirit and quiet strength.
