My Linnea Lund: Jeanette Mix

My Linnea Lund: Jeanette Mix

Each week, we invite a woman or a man from the Linnea Lund community to talk about their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces. This time, it is Jeanette Mix, designer and owner of the Ett Hem hotel in Stockholm, who is the #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!

Significant encounters are rare. The one Charlotte Björklund, founder of Linnea Lund, was about to have with Jeanette Mix would prove crucial, though she didn't know it yet...

We are in the early 2010s. At that time, Charlotte was working for Li Edelkoort's trend agency Trend Union, and her daily life was punctuated by travels around the world. This led her to Sweden, her homeland, where she reconnected with her culture and warm hospitality. It was in the calm of the embassy district, where the Ett Hem hotel is located, that she unpacked her bags and felt at home. The Swedish name of the hotel, meaning "At Home," is quite fitting. This historic residence, with its typically Swedish architecture, offers a comforting cocoon composed of antique objects and iconic pieces of Scandinavian design. "Coming to Ett Hem is a joy! Everything here is beautiful, thoughtful, sophisticated, and well-made, while maintaining great simplicity, which makes staying here so unique," says Charlotte, who now has her routines during her stays in Stockholm, where a second Linnea Lund store opened after the one in Paris. Her attachment to Ett Hem is all the stronger because its owner, Jeanette Mix, was one of the first to believe in Linnea Lund.

Three years ago, Charlotte presented the first prototypes of her Linnea Lund scarf and mittens to Jeanette with nervousness but conviction, and she was extremely touched that this elegant woman followed and supported the adventure of building a sustainable and responsible cashmere brand. Jeanette immediately showed her support by making Ett Hem the first place to sell Linnea Lund pieces.

This initial help from Sweden was a sign for Charlotte. A reconnection to her Swedish culture and a strong symbol that has endured over the years.

Jeanette loves the Linnea Lund blanket, which she offers in "her home," and her team is adorned with Linnea Lund sweaters and accessories. The story between Jeanette Mix and Linnea Lund continues to evolve. Today, Jeanette, who usually prefers to stay discreet, has agreed to become the Swedish ambassador for Linnea Lund. We couldn't dream of a better muse.

Jeanette Mix warmly welcomes us into her cozy "Ett Hem," wearing our cardigans. Junior - Midnight-Blue, to talk about the hotel, her vision of luxury hospitality, and her favorite Linnea Lund pieces.
