My Linnea Lund: Carole Tolila
Each week, we invite a woman or man from the Linnea Lund community to talk about their relationship with clothes, their wardrobe and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces. This time it's Carole Tolila, co-host of "Silence, ça pousse!" and host of "Pyjama Therapy," who is the #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!
Carole Tolila, is your happy girlfriend, always up for a laugh, always available to chat, day and night, as she does in her live shows « Pyjama Therapy » where every Thursday at 9pm more or less, she visits friends, acquaintances or a crush at home for an hour of confidences during which her guests speak about themselves through their home.
Kind of a « Show me your entrance and I'll tell you who you are! » concept! We love these night appointments where we are lucky enough to visit passionate people’s home, in love with their decoration, telling us all about their (good) taste, their stories and their latest finds!
You want inspiration? you get it! So just for that… Thank you Carole Tolila !
And when she's not in her pajamas for a home video tour, Carole Tolila is everywhere around France, criss-crossing in all weathers, for the TV program "Silence, ça pousse!" where she has been a part of a joyful and complicit duo for more than 6 years with the greenest hand man in France, Stéphane Marie.
Also, since she is always on the go, bubbling over with good ideas, and loves to highlight green initiatives, she even created « Jeunes pousses » within her weekly program on France 5.
Truly, Carole is a luminous and involved girl with whom Linnea Lund could only sympathize!
So we pushed the door of her pretty family house where the sobriety of white lets the colors of the outside express themselves. And, that day, Carole Tolila had put on our Frédéric Midnight Blue, to talk to us about her fetish objects, clothes that are like memories for her and the Linnea Lund pieces she loves, of course!
How would you define your style?
My style is like my house: it's pretty classic. I like things that are simple but with details and beautiful materials... I like to keep the clothes in time. A garment is a memory, it's a period.
What is your favorite room in your dressing room and/or apartment?
My living room. It's a living room with a fireplace where we like to warm up together during winter.
What does cashmere makes you think of?
It has to do with a personal story: my aunt gave me a cashmere stole when I was young.
It was really the Holy Grail. It was really one of the bestgifts of my life!
