The virtuous equation of Linnea Lund (from the article by Lili Barbery)

The virtuous equation of Linnea Lund (from the article by Lili Barbery)
Following the awesome “How to Choose Your Yoga Outfit” article from the
sumptuous Lili Barbery,
Lili is a famous kundalini teacher and a french writer who just wrote an article about the virtuous equation for choosing the perfect
yoga outfit and with her approval we then applied this method to our Linnea Lund brand.
Here is the virtuous equation of Linnea Lund products
Environnemental impact :
For the production of the Linnea Lund range, we
have chosen to rely on a family-owned knitting mill,
located only 15 km from our spinning mill. By
locating our production, we are careful to reduce the
carbon impact of our products.
Our collaboration with this knitter is a true
relationship of trust.
A true partner of Linnea Lund, the knitter offers us
the possibility to produce each piece on demand to
avoid overproduction.
Price :
In order to offer a reasonably priced range, margins
are kept to a minimum and the products are
marketed directly by Linnea Lund,
outside the usual distribution channel.
Ethical manufacturing :
For the production of the Linnea Lund products,
Charlotte has chosen to collaborate with a family
owned spinning mill in
the Marche region near Bologna.
This small family business sources its cashmere yarns
from Mongolia, from responsible farms where animal
welfare is paramount.
After being dyed, these yarns are then knitted fifteen
kilometres away, in a family owned factory, which
agrees to produce in
limited quantities to avoid overproduction.
Aesthetic :
As Lily Barbery says, this criterion is quite subjective.
Our collection is a range of revisited classics. These
are the essentials that everyone should have in their
wardrobe twisted with some details that make the
pieces chic and timeless.
The great peculiarity of Linnea Lund is the wide
range of colors we offer. From Powder to Baltic,
including Oatmeal or Macchiato, there is something
for everyone, even if the choice between these
beautiful colors is often very difficult according to
our customers !
Durability :
At linnea lund, we are pleased to offer you products
made to order with the best and softest quality
cashmere.
The nomadic shepherds comb the goats in the spring
to recover the precious wool which is then sent to
our Italian factories to be cleaned and spun. The part
we harvest is the silkiest. It is between the neck
and the belly.
Natural materials :
All Linnea Lund products are made from 100%
cashmere or
70% cashmere and 30% silk.
Our cashmere comes from goats
living in Inner Mongolia, a region with an extreme
climate. We buy our cashmere
according to the terms of fair trade from the village's
nomadic shepherds.
Values :
Quality :
At linnea lund,
we are pleased to offer you products made to order with the best and
softest quality cashmere.
Responsible :
Our cashmere comes from goats living in Inner Mongolia, a region
with an extreme climate. We buy our cashmere using fair trade terms.
For the production of the Linnea Lund range, we have chosen to trust
a family knitting mill, located just 15 km from our spinning mill.
By localizing our production, we take care to reduce the carbon impact
of our products. Our collaboration with this knitter is a real
relationship of trust. A loyal partner of Linnea Lund, the knitter offers

Benevolance :
At Linnea Lund we believe that human contact is essential, we
establish a relationship of trust with each of our partners. Linnea Lund
entrusted the parisian association ACD, which supports people with
disabilities, with the task of sewing the
presentation bags, made from scraps of fabric donated by a prestigious
textile group based in Côme, Italy.
