Each week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we talk about their relationship to clothes, their wardrobe and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces. And, of course, it's exciting and full of delicacy and love.
For once, it's a duo that Charlotte wanted you to discover. This week, they are Anna, founder and manager of Café Suédois, and Maria, author of the pastries that we enjoy on site but also during our Thursday breakfasts, who are the #MyLinneaLund women!
Anna's address is mythical, not to say unavoidable. Historically nestled between the walls of the Swedish Institute, in the heart of the Marais, the Café Suédois has recently deserted the cobblestones of the rue Payenne for the Varenne district, in order to convert other sweet tooths to the charm of lagom and other culinary delights. It is now in the very chic seventh arrondissement of Paris that Anna continues to delight us with her "homemade" recipes with a menu as generous as ever in cinnamon rolls and local and seasonal organic products.
So to stroll around at ease, between the soft armchairs inside and the wrought iron seats on the terrace, where visitors can sunbathe in summer and winter, Anna likes to be comfortable in her clothes. So to keep it casual yet stylish, there's nothing better than jeans paired with our Clara cardigan in a custom two-tone version with the colors she loves and look like her: a bright red and a soft pink. In fact, at Anna's house, as in her café, everything is comforting. There is a reassuring consistency that you can taste in her recipes and the care she takes with the products, which are always meticulously sourced, and with this place that she cherishes as her home. Everything here has been chosen with taste. Just look at the ceramic dishes. A feast for the eyes even before biting into a piece of zucchini-feta cake that only Anna has the secret to.
So let's head to the Hotel de Vogüé, which now houses the Café Suédois, to taste Anna's menu and Maria's sweet treats, before they tell each other about their wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces they love.
- How would you define your style?
Anna: I have a "basic" style, I am very often in jeans and sweater. Nothing sophisticated.
- What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
Anna: Blue, green, red: rather saturated colors.
- How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?
Anna: With jeans.
- What objects represent Sweden to you?
Maria: My childhood, family and vacations because I go back in the summer with my children.
