My Linnea Lund : Jessica Troisfontaine

My Linnea Lund : Jessica Troisfontaine

Every week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we discuss their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces. And of course, it's exciting and full of delicacy and love.

This time, Jessica Troisfontaine, founder of the inspiring brand and media Septem, is the #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!

The vibrant Jessica will always remember September 7, 2017, the day she decided to close her last legal case and open an exciting new chapter in her life. And what a chapter it has been! With Septem, Jessica has sparked a small revolution in ready-to-wear fashion... Her weapon? Irresistible suits in which women can't help but feel strong, powerful, and confident. A kind of tailored, empowering armor that gives us that extra spirit, that confidence to live our lives as we want and, why not, aim for the moon! This is what we love about Septem, wearing clothes that allow us to take big steps forward. In almost five years, the brand has also taken off as Jessica now offers collections of dresses, tops, bottoms, and even sets for walking down the aisle in pristine suits. In short, Septem has everything we need to feel beautiful and confident. A powerful spirit that Jessica conveys in her collections as well as in her inspiring podcast, Septem Club.

And because she loves to be elegant without fuss but with a touch of whimsy, Jessica found her happiness at Linnea Lund. She never parts with our Clara cardigan in a soft and generous yellow, which she cleverly paired with our Maud, our 100% cashmere top, as soft as it is durable, and a lovely pair of long, golden earrings that have sentimental value.

It is with emotion, at teatime, around a beautifully set table with an appetizing Kanelbullar, the Swedish cinnamon bun waiting to be enjoyed, that Jessica welcomes us to talk about herself through her wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces she loves so much.

- How would you define your style?
I aspire to elegance, simplicity with a touch of originality, generosity, and loyalty. A mix of coherence and exploration.

- What is your favorite color in the Linnea Lund palette?
Off-white, because I love the idea of dressing in light. I also really like the color Honey, very soft and sunny at the same time.

- How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?
I wear Linnea Lund cashmere like a cocoon, so against my skin, of course. And certainly not just in winter! I plan to wear the short-sleeved model on many summer evenings.

- What objects represent Sweden to you?
When I think of Sweden, I am caught by my passion for everything related to food, and the first thing that comes to mind is Kanelbullar, those cinnamon buns. I also think of clogs, which I have been obsessed with for several months now...

- What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe or apartment?
The pieces most dear to me are my jewelry. I attribute magical powers to them because they were all given to me by the people I love the most. In my apartment, I am particularly attached to the artworks by artists my husband and I have started collecting, those by Tiffany Bouelle, Pauline Guerrier, Ugo Schildge, Tamaris Borrelly, or Fabien Conti.

- What item of clothing would you keep if you could only keep one?
It would be the extravagant Jimmy Choo shoes with pearls and beauty that I wore at my wedding, because if I have to be naked, I might as well be well-shod!

- If I say cashmere, what do you think of?
I think of softness, delicacy, and durability... and thus transmission, from mother to daughter for example. I have always seen my mother wear cashmere, and I hope to one day
