Each week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we discuss their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they like to combine our iconic cashmere pieces. And of course, it's always exciting and filled with delicacy and love.
This time, it's Kate, a naturopath and nutritional therapist, inventor of the Diet Kate Spirit method, who is the #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!
With her graceful silhouette, calm voice, and evident serenity, Kate resembles a benevolent Madonna to whom one could confess anything, even our worst culinary indulgences. To that, she would likely respond that it's important not to "eat" one's emotions to find peace with oneself, one's plate, and one's desires, but rather to relearn how to eat well without falling into the trap of a sad, drastic, and frustrating diet. In fact, with Kate, there's only joy and color in the kitchen! Spices and herbs mingle with market-fresh produce for rainbow recipes and homemade seasonal dishes that invite everyone to get back into the kitchen and take the time to savor a meal. It's the art of "eating consciously to lose weight consciously" that Kate imparts through her nutritional rebalancing programs.
Doing things consciously is an ambition that our guest shares with Charlotte, who founded Linnea Lund in 2019 to offer responsible and sustainable fashion, with mindful production, made-to-order, respectful of cashmere, and the family-owned businesses Linnea Lund collaborates with.
Our meeting with Kate took place in her lovely apartment in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, amidst a sculpture by César and a painting by a Catalan artist she adores. Adorned in our Marcel, Kate talks about her wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces she loves.
