My Linnea Lund : Audrey Moulin
Each week we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their views on fashion. Together we talk about their relationship to clothes, their wardrobe and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces. And, of course, it's exciting and full of delicacy and love. This time, it is Audrey, founder of LOURS Paris, an ethical streetwear brand for children who is the #MyLinneaLund of the week!
When launching her brand, Audrey Moulin had a nice idea in mind: to create comfortable clothes for her children, "the new citizens of the world". Unisex clothing in which to have fun and feel free to move in. A wardrobe full of colors, joy, fantasy and "dou(x)dou(x)" tops, and above all collections produced in ultra-limited series to aim for zero waste. And we love it all the more that each creation is made in France, exclusively, from high-end materials to give life to sustainable clothing while preserving the planet as much as possible, our children's first playground. Quite a challenge that this former fashion journalist rose to with flying colors!
What do we like about Audrey Moulin? Her thirst for knowledge, her sense of detail, her attachment to French know-how and her appetite for responsible fashion. Qualities that have led it to a real success story since it is one of the rare kids fashion brands to have achieved a brilliant feature: limiting the distances between each link in production. Moreover, this rare proximity nowadays has allowed her to build a solid base of local actors around her, who have become her family at heart.
In love with the Marais district, this is where she lives in a bright apartment which also serves as an office since she has set up her corner dedicated to LOURS Paris, where she works, receives and exhibits the brand's new products. Dressed in our Nathalie turtleneck sweater, she welcomes us to tell us about what makes her happy, about her last trip to California which inspired her to her summer 2022 collection, and the Linnea Lund pieces she loves.
How would you define your style?
It's more of a fairly simple style that can be very colourful, with sweaters, sweatshirts and jackets that I don't hesitate to oversize to be comfortable, and I wear a lot of sneakers!
What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
I like to wear colors and, here, particularly, the powder pink Linnea Lund which I find elegant, discreet and pretty.
In your eyes, what objects represent Sweden?
The Polars, clogs, of course, but also a sweet way of life.
Which room in your dressing room/or your apartment is your favorite?
A lamp that I found in Bordeaux that I think is very elegant joyful and colorful.
What item of your wardrobe would you keep if you could only keep one?
An oversized men's jacket that I found and it's very elegant. I can wear it with a pair of sneakers but also a pair of heels. It's really go-anywhere and I wear it all the time!
