My Linnea Lund : Stanislas Le Bert

Today, Stanislas Le Bert, General Director of L:A Bruket,  joins us for this week's #MyLinneaLund.

Every week we invite members of the Linnea Lund community to meet them and hear their views on their personal style and how they mix and match our iconic sweaters, cardigans, and accessories. It’s personal, it's easy, it's from the eye of the LL community, with love and care.

L:A Bruket is  a Swedish cosmetics brand that prioritizes ingredient purity and works hand in hand with nature and what it has to offer. Around 2 years ago, while on a Sweden visit, Charlotte found L:A Bruket products. She had been looking for a scent that would represent and match Linnea Lund’s character. When Charlotte found their Tabac candle she fell in love with and knew that this was the scent meant for Linnea Lund: something traditional and earthy that would remind her of her Swedish roots. After becoming a regular customer Charlotte built a relationship with L:A Bruket and struck up a friendship with Stanislas and made it so that you can now buy L:A Bruket directly through us!

L:A Bruket and Linnea Lund were created under the same values. As Swedish brands they prioritize nature and recognize its importance and power. For L:A Bruket this means instead of hiding from the effects of nature on skin and body, they look to it for inspiration and remedies. For us at Linnea Lund this means respecting Earth, the environment, and the beings that surround us by leading with ethics and consideration for all.

Continue reading below to see how Stanislas incorporates Linnea Lund in his wardrobe and everyday style.

How would you define your style?

I allow myself complete freedom when it comes to my style sinceI am rather curious.  For me, my style depends on the conditions of  an environment,  context, or a precise moment.

This is why I can be particularly sensitive to a piece of a collection; especially for its material, its cut… I find these specifically adapted to a moment of life.

Sometimes I can go from an urban chic outfit on Friday to an oversized layering style on the weekend.

If there is a common thread in my choices, it is clearly in the functionality - the reason for the existence of each piece and  the transparency of the brand as to where it is made.

What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?

Seaweed - a nod to one of the key ingredients in L:A Bruket formulas

How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?

My favorite piece is the Edward. I like its cut that can cleverly contrast with a skinny pant.

Another piece I enjoy is the Marcel it's the ideal knitwear for the coming days

I also think the Fanny is very elegant and especially suitable for winter

How do you see Linnea Lund?

The concept is meaningful. Everything overlaps. Its simplicity, its modesty, combined with fundamentally very rigorous criteria in sourcing and production.

I see in Linnea Lund the Swedish way of life: both conscious and moderate. The very human approach, embodied by Charlotte, is reflected in the collections along with the desire to offer a maximum of choice to customers.

I also see an interesting parallel with the brand I manage!

What represents Sweden for you?

Varberg.
