Every week, we invite a woman or a man from the Linnea Lund community to discuss their relationship with clothing, their wardrobe, and how they enjoy pairing our iconic cashmere pieces. This time, it's Carole Tolila, co-host of "Silence, ça pousse!" and host of "Pyjama Therapy," who is the #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!
Carole Tolila is your cheerful friend, always ready to laugh and available for a chat, day or night, as she does in her live show "Pyjama Therapy." Every Thursday around 9 PM, she visits friends, acquaintances, or favorites at their homes for an hour of heartfelt conversations where guests reveal themselves through their homes.
It's a bit like "Tell me about your entryway, and I'll tell you who you are!" We love these nighttime rendezvous where we get the chance to visit homes of passionate individuals who adore their decor, sharing everything about their (great) taste, stories, and latest finds!
Need inspiration? You'll get it! Just for that... Thank you, Carole Tolila!
And when she's not in pajamas for a video visit, Carole Tolila travels across France in all weather for the TV show "Silence, ça pousse!" where for over 6 years, she has formed a joyful and harmonious duo with France's greenest thumb, Stéphane Marie.
Moreover, being always on the move, brimming with great ideas, and passionate about highlighting green initiatives, she even created "Jeunes pousses" in her weekly show on France 5.
In truth, Carole is a radiant and committed person whom Linnea Lund couldn't help but admire! So, we stepped into her lovely family home where the simplicity of white allows the colors from outside to shine through. And that day, Carole Tolila had donned our Frédéric Midnight Blue, to talk to us about her cherished items, clothes that are like memories to her, and of course, the Linnea Lund pieces she adores!
How would you define your style?
My style is like my home: quite classic. I like things that are simple but with details and beautiful materials... I like to keep clothes over time. A piece of clothing is a memory; it's an era.
What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe and/or apartment?
My living room. It's a room with a fireplace where we love to gather and warm up together during winter.
What does cashmere make you think of?
It's connected to a personal story: my aunt gave me a cashmere stole when I was young. It was truly the Holy Grail. It was one of the best gifts of my life!
