My Linnea Lund : Alice Violier

Each week, we invite a member of the Linnea Lund community to share their perspective on fashion. Together, we talk about their relationship to clothes, their wardrobe and how they like to mix and match our iconic cashmere pieces. And, of course, it's exciting and full of delicacy and love.

This time, it's Alice Violier, founder of the Seconde Vue brand, who is the #MyLinneaLund woman of the week!

It's by discovering some sublime pairs of vintage glasses forgotten in a drawer that Alice had the idea to found Seconde Vue. The concept? To give a second life to eyeglasses or sunglasses that have crossed the ages while remaining in the air of time thanks to a graphic and affirmed style. Granddaughter of the eyewear maker and creator of the Perceval House, Alice has a keen eye for finding treasures that are then passed on to experts who repair and readjust them. Like new, the new frames are ready to be placed on a new nose!

Linnea Lund identifies perfectly with this spirit of committed, responsible and circular fashion. Like us, Alice loves structured cuts and bright colors that give a punch to an outfit. She naturally fell for our Greta cardigan in its intense green version and was seduced by the soft yellow of our Ingrid short-sleeved sweater, which she likes to wear with a pair of wide-leg pants held together by a vintage belt.

And it's in front of the Île Saint-Louis, in the Seconde Vue showroom where dozens of pairs of glasses as unique as they are stylish, that Alice welcomes us to tell us about herself through her wardrobe and the Linnea Lund pieces she loves.

How would you define your style?
I have a style that translates into two moods: the first one is very comfortable, with baggy clothes, oversized jacket and sneakers. The second one is more "femme fatale" with dresses close to the body and heels for example. What I like in the clothes I wear is the structure, I like the large jackets but always with big shoulder pads or I like the dresses which mark the size. I also like (a lot) colors: bright, warm, pastel, they make me happy and I dare to wear pink pants and an orange sweater in the middle of winter.

What is your favorite color from the Linnea Lund palette?
It's impossible to choose just one! I love the sweet pink, I love the palette of greens, blues and blue greens!

How do you wear Linnea Lund cashmere?
I wear it with loose jeans with a low rise, and a vintage chain belt.

What objects do you think represent Sweden?
A wooden object with perfect, clean, soothing lines and a pair of clogs if that counts as an object?
